Avşar Maden Suyu

Avşar Mineral Water is located in the Avşar Stream, 3 km from the İscehisar district center, on the Afyonkarahisar-Ankara route.

The first written information about Avşar Mineral Water was published in the 3rd issue of the Turkish Hygiene and Experimental Biology magazine in 1940 by Prof. Dr. S. Calvi, who conducted research on mineral waters and thermal springs in Turkey. This article mentioned the presence of the Avşar Springs four hours from Afyon. In subsequent years, numerous studies and analyses were conducted on Avşar Mineral Water, and its superior qualities were noted. Dr. Calvi stated that the Avşar Mineral Water spring, where the studies were conducted, flows at a flow rate of approximately 0.13 per second from a pool of stones arranged around the spring.
